Got better as the team did the same. Its always difficult to generate a proper atmosphere when there are only 300 opposition fans, all who seemed to be suffering from a lost voice.

They can fuck off with that 'Glad All Over'. It's Palace's song.

Blackpool's too

Although, if they do insist on playing something after goals then I'd much rather have Glad All Over than any of the modern offerings. Eat My Goal at MK was a particular low.

Blackpool ripped it off from Palace though. It's been a Palace song for years and years. It's like some team I heard over the weekend using 'The Apprentice' music to run out to (can't think of it's proper title) but to me that's Sunderland's music. But then Sunderland are a bunch of cunts for calling their ground The Stadium of Fucking Light FFS!

I could go on all day...I guess I'm just saying we need a bit of originality. More XTC please!!!!!

Totally agree one hundred per cent with this. A) it's palace's song and b) songs cheapen the atmos IMO

If anything is played it should be the sound of an air raid siren so the whole town knows we scored...

How about the whistle that was used at the old railway works?  You could hear that thing in Oxford!

Sounds like an ace idea - although I think the originals are stuck on the roof at the designer outlet but the club could invest in some train horns, stick them on the DRS and sound it just before the teams come out followed by a bit of XTC and then, when we score a goal sound it again.  Has great links to the towns history and signal when the town were playing well... wouldn't have worked too well last year but this year I get a feeling it will be working overtime....

In today's society the club would be under a noise abatement order before full time.

Irrespective of who's song it is etc. Etc. Etc. I thought the club did a great job getting the place rocking on Sat. Surely no fixed formula is needed. Keep consulting with the fans and eventually we'll get a solutions everyone likes. Better than nothing. For my money the place has not had a truly unique atmosphere we can be proud of since the days of Ossie, tick-a-tape and a  packed Shirvvy
Road. 'Glad all over 'is better than nothing IMO.
