Once the assess had disappeared did you have the tooth taken out or did you have a root canal
I went for the root canal option. Now have a temporary crown until the beginning of September. A replacement crown is gonna cost £500!

Once the abscess has healed it's normally a root canal or extract so I'm guessing you went private

Nope - NHS. Although I had a crown privately (but free through work) back in 2007. It had to be cut off to get through to do the root canal. So, my option was the same: Extraction and a big gap, which may have spoiled my good looks. Or root canal and replacement crown which costs me £500 (no longer have free private care).

1. There, their, they're.
The fact that people continuously get this wrong, even though it is taught at primary school and repeated at secondary school.
There: A position or place e.g. They are over there you idiot! Their: Belonging to them. e.g. It's their loss the idiots! They're: A contraction of 'they are' e.g. They're idiots!
2. That'll learn them!
No! That will 'teach' them.
3. I brought that from the shop No! You 'bought' it from the shop and 'brought' it from there to here!

Unfortunately mate that sounds about right, think that's about what I paid a little while back. Be lucky to even find a dentist where we are unless you're already registered with them.

As somebody who writes for a living, poor spelling and grammar from other people doesn't bother me. We all have different skills, and many of those people are far better at doing their job than I am at doing their job.
But...
1) Text speak - It's just lazy and often difficult to read. If they can't be bothered to make an effort to write it then I won't make the effort to read it. *waits for a hilarious jape where somebody deliberately replies with text speak* 2) Semi-literate people who call other people stupid.

Spot on this is. As someone who really struggles with poor grammar and spelling i will often write up posts and then delete them as i am worried i have spelt things incorrectly and then have the piss taken out of my be by the spelling police
