I have one and breed fish, tropical and coldwater. Makes a tidy profit. I would be more than willing to send you some fish through the post as a gift.  Smiley

My house mate's got a massive one Yeovil (no jokes thanks!).

It's got a cool luminous blue/turquoise light in the top that lights the front room at night.

Took a while to work out which fish liked to eat each other but it's become the centre piece of the lounge. Except for the TV, obviously!

I kept fish for a while, until they were wiped out by my wife in a bizarre oven cleaning accident  Sad

I came home to a tank full of the poor little bastards floating belly up, but a very clean oven!

Top tip - don't let the wife near the fish tank with noxious cleaning substances.

Ive had a read and to be honest they make it seem like quite hard work.

Baring in mind it'll only be a 10 minute fad I think Id best not bother.

Quite an expensive fad too Yeovil, take up Golf instead thats an expensive fad that will at least get you out of the house into the country a bit. You at work?

I have a mate who loves expensive fads, these now include :-

Keeping tropical fish, Kite flying, Golf, growing cactuses, badminton (possibly the worst sport in the world), and most recently getting involved with making a float for Pewsey Carnival. Somehow I have managed to get dragged into almost all of the above at some level (Pewsey carnival is the exception, you have to draw a line somewhere).  bizarrely I was worse at growing cactuses than Golf
