i had a meeting with actress hands yesterday and they have recorded their album, i asked how much it had cost fearing the worse and they replied a lasagne for the engineer. so £4.99 then. this record label lark is a piece of piss

Had a little listen on my 15 year old laptop. Not the best medium to judge on. Sounded quite listenable (preferably on a different system). Didn't have that je ne sais quoi that made me jump up and down and say I have to listen to it again. Sounded a bit like early REM to me - but it could be the awful speakers I have on this thing !
