I mean it is a risk Austin is 'gone' physically.
idk

I hate to be all Reg'y (RIP) but as I noted the t'other day...

I do fear that if he did come back and everyone got really excited he would invariably pop his shoulder in the first game and miss most of the season.

Having Austin back would really rally the fans up. He deserves it and so do we Smiley

Don't want to be a club that only taking punts on youngsters hoping for a return profit. Like to think we have some ambition as a Club.

If our targets list only has 32 rows then that's a pretty worrying reflection on how we're doing business...

Clem and CA have spoken at length. He’s interested in a coaching role at the end of the season.
Salary has been negotiated and agreed.

A certain Manager has thrown his toys out of the window because he wasn’t consulted and has refused to ok the deal.

If what you are saying is correct. Surely the current manager mentioned is going to be on  very shaky ground especially after the last 4 or 5 games.
My opinion is we are so missing the Arry Mckirdy factor. Dread to think what the Barrow match is going to be like.

Trouble is I don't think Charlie is the man to help take the team forward.
We clearly need a Gordon Greer type of leader.

Isn't that MacDonald's role?  The crowd and team need a lift after 6 weeks of boring, losing football.

At the end of last season I had mates going to watch Swindon, who hadn’t been in years. Who were going week after week and introducing their kids to it. Every single one of those people have stopped going this year because of how boring it is.

If I am honest I am starting to struggle to enjoy going, as there is no enjoyment at all out there.

There is absolutely zero to get behind as a fan base at the moment, everything is just tepid and uninspiring.

Agreed, Angus Macdonald could have been the "cult leader" that was badly needed. For reasons he is not.

Morrison or Flint would have had more chance. The chappie from Middleboro would have be a better option. But he was not signed.

We have a vanilla team with no spice. Yes a focus on youth which could be an investment in the future, however we are living today.

Currently playing in the bottom division of the football league and still getting 8k supporters. Fantastic

To Clem Morfuni, if correct that you are making decisions with investment on the field it is pleasing. I can not believe SL would try to veto your suggestions with CA.

This situation can not continue and I sure it won't.

Swindon supporters deserve more than what we are currently getting.

The team sheet for last weeks Wimbledon game was simply "Not fit for purpose"
