Talking of kits I wonder if next seasons have been chosen yet

With how well Clem & Hall have their finger on the pulse of how the fans are feeling, I expect they’ve chosen a yellow home kit (and will try and tell us it’s Aussie Gold)

 If I remember correctly , the yellow away kit from a few years ago was pretty popular . I bought one. But, then again, that was probably the high water mark of the rising tide and probably anything would have been popular at that time .

I've only dipped in and out recently as I've been on holiday but back to normality and a few thoughts/comments on the recent goings on at STFC.

I've always been told by people I trust that Clem wants Gavin Gunning in the hot seat, obviously to cut costs and because they get on and they've thrown shrimp on the barbie and drank VB at Clem's down under. Frankly the decision to put GG in interim charge last season with no assistant was insane and getting Shan to assist seemed to be a sensible decision. I think this was on a non-contract basis, but not sure what Shan gets out of that unless he wants to be his assistant full time. So far we haven't seen any evidence of this.

I know Swindon under this ownership does everything at a glacial pace, but you would hope that we would put some foundations in place to build for next season. A managerial/coaching team is the first point of call. Going around the houses to find an assistant to work with a rookie manager, I can't see it. If it's true that we were able to get Brennan, and then offered him the assistant role to work with Gunning, then that's absolutely bananas. The longer this goes on, surely the chances that the contract offers on the table for the out of contract players are rejected. These players want stability and we are miles away from that.

I'd be hopeful that the Trust's results that were reported would be a huge wake up call to Clem. He'll know what ST sales are like and he needs something for the fans to whet their appetite. Appointing Gunning and a new assistant aren't going to cut it frankly. The silence at the club is obscure as well, I know they don't believe in marketing, but they need to wake up and see even their core support is waning.
