got myself a bargin set of Howson clubs for £22 + del
A brand new Newbery Bag for £13.50 + del
and 50 Titelist balls for £16 + del

ideal for someone like myself who isn't anygood and is starting out.

I play, its the most annoying game in the world but also one of the most satisfying. We should organise a TEF Society day ,it wouldnt cost that much . The thing that always makes me laugh is when the fuck wit with all the gear (Taylor Made clubs, Huge bag ,flash clothes ) Tees off from the 1st and hits it about 20 yards.  A set of £800 clubs will not make a shit player better ,you would be better investing the money on some lessons or better still have a mate whose brother is an Ex PGA pro  Wink

I play a bit. Hardly played at all this year, probably about 3-4 times.
I love playing it, but the trouble is, i'm pretty shit at it.
I can't be arsed with all that handicap bollocks.

that's damn cheap, and howsen are a good starter set, but especially for £22.

i think a golf day is a must. dmr fancies himself as well (why he prefers tubby inbreds i have no idea) but we should be able to round up a few people.

maybe play the L&P scum as well

Maybe he's been busy burning all those Oxford University sweaters he was so proud of and replacing them with Oxford Brookes ones.

Amen brother Foggy. I just bought a new TaylorMade driver ($400 reduced to $150) and I still can't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Maybe that's my problem - try hitting a golf ball with the golf club  Doh

I'm definitely taking some lessons next spring.
