Yet again we were in the top 5 average home attendances in league 2 this season for the 3rd year in a row albeit attendances are going down by around of 600 per season on average.

2021-22 2nd highest with 9,790
2022-23 3rd highest with 9,064
2023-24 5th highest with 8,483

We finished with higher averages than all the play off finalists and higher than promoted Mansfield too. We also had more than double the average of 9 clubs.

In such a shit, underperforming season, thats pretty amazing and is way higher than the club currently deserve under the circumstances IMO.

17,547 Bradford City
11,210 Wrexham - P
10,905 Notts County
 9,331 Stockport County - C
 8,483 Swindon Town
 7,893 AFC Wimbledon
 7,426 Mansfield Town - P
 7,090 Doncaster Rovers - PO
 6,855 Franchise - PO
 6,436 Gillingham
 6,354 Grimsby Town
 6,306 Tranmere Rovers
 5,618 Walsall
 5,090 Crewe Alexandra - PO
 4,336 Newport County
 4,177 Colchester United
 4,002 Morecambe
 3,804 Barrow
 3,557 Crawley Town - PO
 3,286 Sutton United - R
 2,950 Salford City
 2,752 Harrogate Town
 2,706 Accrington Stanley
 2,473 Forest Green Rovers - R

It absolutely blows my mind that nobody super rich has bought Bradford. That must be the most underachieving club in the entire country.

Absolutely, massive fanbase in Britains 4th largest city by population(including neighbours Leeds).

Although they only pay something like £249 per season ticket thats still an amazing turnout, even if for many games less than half actually turned up in person. Even if we sold season tickets at the same reduced rate we wouldnt get anywhere near that figure.

£198 for a season ticket. They've sold about 13,500 for next season in the early bird window. It's £300 to buy onw noe which must still be among the cheapest in the league.

Take away our away following to these clubs and their figures would naturally be less. Not significantly but less none the less.

Also worth noting that the Midland/Northern clubs have less distance to travel so get more away fans attending.

True, also doesn’t help that we were amongst the most expensive ticket for away fans.

We had the 10th average away following this season, so whilst this has some truth, there are other teams to which this applies more.

1163 Stockport County
1126 Notts County
1093 Bradford City
 867 Grimsby Town

 687 Gillingham
 679 Walsall
 669 Swindon Town
 657 Tranmere Rovers
 597 AFC Wimbledon
 566 Crewe Alexandra
 498 Franchise
 414 Barrow
 355 Newport County
 349 Colchester United
 337 Morecambe
 245 Sutton United

I can't believe Gillingham and Grimsby average more away fans than us. Thought we'd be top 6 easily. Still I suppose Grimsby are a bit more central than us

Understandable when you consider most of L2 is northern, plus our performances…
