The Sheff Wednesday forward has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. Could be worth a look, the lad was dangerous last season but has struggled to make the first team this season. With Roberts out for 6 weeks, and the Fallon/Parkin partnership lacking pace, is he a possible stop-gap?

10 goals in 24 games for Wendy is not a bad tally at all for a young fella from the Congo.
I think his release is as much about Sturrock wanting to bring in his own men. That and the arrival of James Quinn has probably pushed the lad down the pecking order.
May be a shrewd investment but I get the impression that to see the best of him he needs the benefit and guidance of an experienced steadying manager. So probably not the best of, then.

I imagine the statistic of 24 goals in 10 games need to be reversed surely Dazza? 10 goals in 24 games?
He'd make a decent back-up and he's pacy which is something we're lacking. He is still young, and could be worth signing till the end of the season and seeing if he can still hack it. I do not think his release from Wednesday is anything to do with his ability, and more to do with, as Dazza says, Sturrock's revolution.
Don't want to worry you Dave, but I pointed out Igoe on the STFC Boards before he was snapped up by Swindon, and signed O'Hanlon on CM before we got him on loan, so obviously I should be a footie scout when I grow up....
Nsumbu Ndungu will sign for Swindon Town FC. You read it here first.

Yep 10 in 24. Although at one point 24 in 10 didn't look impossible.

I remember him being the best player on the park up at Hillsborough last season. I think he was in quite a prolific vein of form at that time as well.

I remember him being 'the-one-to-watch' up at Hillsborough but he was pretty crap and couldn't really get at the mighty Town. And we had one blocked off the line. They were lucky and that Geary fellow wasn't over polite.
But that's off the topic, Ndumbu-Nsungu wasn't all that good in the game against us but i expect is a good enough player to get in our side at the mo.

I thought he was some sort of terrorist, when I saw the title of this. I thought who the bloody hell is he, some sort of Zimbabwean farmer killer? But now all has been revealed and I am happy my general knowledge is still in tact.
He sounds a dangerous man, sign him this moment.
