I love Parks and Recreation. It's literally the perfect sitcom.

It is amazing, I have watched it three times through. All the characters are so strong and I think Jean-Ralphio is my favourite cameo ever.

First season was a teeny weeny bit of a slog, mind. Only really kept up with it as I was promised the second season onwards is really good!
Just finished season one of Preacher, had read a few of the graphic novels a good ten years ago, really liked it.

S1 of Parks and Rec is only 6 episodes long so that is damning It was all about Tom and Jean-Ralphio for me.... and Chris Pratt before he became super-mega-name.

I watched half of series 1 a few years back and decided it wasn't for me. Glad I gave it another go and it's been consistently excellent. All the characters are superb and I can't think of any other show that is so genuinely feel good.
Similarly but also opposite, I took forever to get into Seinfeld and am enjoying it now. It's a truly horrible show with horrible people though.
It's a good balance

Blood drive..Plot spoilers below ..
Its like wacky races meets Mad max, but set in a dystopian 1999, where the winner of the race gets enough cash to leave the hellhole. Oh and did I mention the cars in the race run off human blood?
Very tongue in cheek I think, I kind of enjoyed it as a stupid but watchable kind of thing!

I enjoyed Goliath, although it did have annoying aspects. There was one thing that really got my back up in the first episode though. So much I can still clearly remember it.
I know it's stupid, but still, it's nonsense. He walks out of his apartment, steals his neighbour's paper, stands in dog shit and then, instead of wiping his foot on the grass next to him, which is obviously perfectly suited for the purpose, he starts trying to wipe it off with the paper he just stole.

We said the exact same things. I did find in both episodes 1 and 2 that it started off well, but started to get a bit tiresome towards the end but then ended on highs so its kept out attention so far.

The murky world of "competitive endurance tickling" in the documentary bit didn't err tickle your fancy then.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

I don't think I mentioned it on here, or the film thread, but tickled is a really great watch. I'd not seen the trailer either, so just found myself utterly engrossed and loving the twists.
