I never knew this before, and wouldn't it REALLY piss you off:
If two or more teams are level before the end of the season on points, goal difference and goals scored, then alphabetical order will determine the team finishing higher.
I think we should change to a name beginning with Aa.

Why Athletic Association Swindon??? We wouldn't be first in the alphabet, as Arsenal, Aston Villa, would be above Ath Ass Swindon in the alphabet.
Aardvark Swindon FC would work.
I think this is all a load of bollocks anyway. There's no way they'd resort to the alphabet to decide league positioning.

Dont know the rules, but in Scotland they have a play-off game to decide who is higher. Maybe it couyld go on the outcomes of the matches they'd played that season? Feel soory for Yeovil!

Walrus I think this is a load of old bollocks. So if Chelsea and Utd finished level top after drawing with each other both times, then had the same points and goal difference at the end of the season Chelsea would win the league on alphabetical order - bollocks. There would be a play off - FACT.
