soapy tit wank. Just read on a bullshit manufacturing site that Paynter is going to Bournemouth and they are loaning us Jayden Stockley once he arrives.

Same site quotes Leeds are going to Loan Paynter to us!

I know its all a load of shit but Id still Like the second to happen!

I wouldn't want Paynter
   1. we don't need him
   2. He hasn't played much since leaving us.
   3. That means he's has 3/4 of a magical season in about 5 seasons.

I'm with Batch, he had 3/4 of a great season and only really shone once Austin turned up.  No thanks.

Paynter can fuck off.

He couldn't give a toss at Wembley because he already had an 8k a week contract at Leeds lined up.

Most of his goals were penalties if I remember rightly too.

Maybe good to get someone in who can score penalties..  Wink

Injured.

He agreed to sign for Leeds in February long before Wembley.

To be fair to Paynter he made defenders make mistakes and had the odd knack for scoring a goal out of nothing.

You cant argue that he formed two good partnerships with Cox and Austin.

Paynter did damn well for us, anyone who cant see that doesnt know football. Slightly ropey when he signed but was good for the next 2 seasons.

Wrong.

Pourquoi?   Sure, he did well with Cox but he wasn't scoring the goals he did when Austin was alongside him.

He set up a large proportion of cox'es either with direct assists or taking the defenders out of the equation.

We missed Paynter when he went. Apart from Greer going too, the biggest factor in our shitness i think.

It's all gone a bit quiet on the transfer front this week.  Maybe after the Cunstable situation they have decided to keep talks out of the papers until deals are signed.
