from the Southend forum "If he goes swindon he wants his head seeing to, thats no step up." But it's not, is it? Good chance both will be promoted so why jump ship to us?

If we both go up, would Southend be fighting for survival, mid table or looking for another promotion as we would?

Long term we are a far more attractive proposition than Southend

Why are we? When comparing the 2 teams over the last 20 years they have probably done alot more than us.

@Footy_First: #Swindon have agreed terms with #Southend's Kane Ferdinand. #Forest were previously interested #transferwindow http://twitter.com/Footy_FirstIts ipswich who have bid for kane not us.

Yeah since said 10.My point is our fans get arsey every time.southend are above us so why would or should it be deemed a better move for him?

As it stands, Swindon and Southend are League Two teams with serious promotion aspirations. What we've done in the past 10 years or what we might do in the near future is irrelevant. It's the hear and now and how much whoever are paying.
I'd be very surprised if Kane Ferdinand joined Town.

I have no idea man, they've had marginally better seasons than us in L1 up until our play off season, not much in it really. Not that this move is happening tbf.

A player offered a longer contract on more dosh may well move to a club in the same division.
