Title: 2800 season tickets sold?
Post by: glos_robin on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, 12:14:32
Have to say I'm slightly suprised by that article on the official site, wasn't expecting 3,000 season ticket holders next season....

A tad suprising maybe, but I suppose it's not huge considering the figure is for the early bird renewal bit (it would make sense that anyone who was a season ticket holder last season would get it at the cheapest price this year).

The interesting detail would be the revenue generated and abreakdown of renewals vs new season ticket holders, and then compare those sorts of data.

Don't forget the Trust came and out and effectively supported getting season tickets still (just advising credit cards to withold the cahs upfront).

3000 at £339 is less than 1500 at £339 and 1300 at £399 for example.

I don't think 3,000 is a surprising figure at all. That's what I would have guessed it would be :shrug:

But then I do forget sometimes how f****** ace I am 8)

1500 x 339 = 508500
1300 * 399 = 518700

total = 1027200

3000 * 339 = 1017000

a difference of 102000

Yep, as shown by Bo.

Plucking figures out of the air, but it was an attempt to show more sales need not mean more income, especially as the sales have all occured during the discount period.

I think that might be £10,200, not £102,000  Bo. The statement was still correct though.

I'm wondering how many of that 2800 actually told their friends, "Oh I'm not buying a season ticket til the board have gone, blah blah blah"
