Having lived in London Town for a number of years I thought it best that I should pass on some pub knowledge.
Wembley is a nightmare for getting into pubs let alone getting served.
My suggestion is to get off at Kilburn (only a few stops away from Wembley Park) and head to either The North London Tavern or Brondes Age. Both are 2 mins away from the tube station and much easier to get served.
Hope this of use to some.
Regards Wills

or just stand outside the pubs loaded with cans, like we've done on the last 2 visits.

I might head for Marylebone for pre match drinks, only 10 mins on the overground to Wembley Station.

The premier inn outside the tube, will have a big outdoor bar also, normally they'll have the beers continuously pored and about 10-15 staff serving, so you only wait a couple of minutes normally.

Cracking idea, Allsop arms maybe ala Wycombe. ( Sure the landlords forgotten the racket we made after Wycombe!)

Some of my family live in Hitchin. Fancy that. They're all Spurs fans though.

I'm going to visit Uxbridge (wife driving in) in the morning and then tube down to Wembley Park about an hour and a half before kick off I think. The sheer lack of options around Wembley combined with 80k people milling around just smacks of queues, not finding anywhere etc.
