I’ve only just noticed Egbo joined back up with Garner at Colchester.
He had “cult hero” written all over him if he’d stayed here.
Supposedly he’d said he was going to and the deal was all but done. Terrible move for him in the end.

This is a tad harsh DMC, you know more than most that whilst a player might play for a team, they very much are an individual business when it comes to getting the best deal they can {at the time} in pretty much a short career in terms of longevity - especially in the bottom two divisions. Potentially 'fuck him' with regards to not playing for STFC any more but I wouldn't say 'fuck him' when it comes to what works best for him and his 'team' personally. Plus, he's a decent fella. |

But at 26 his career isn't screaming "missed out on a gem". So not bothered he's at Colchester

''You heard'', we hear a lot of things and a lot of those things often don't paint the full picture. At the end of the day there could be many reasons of why he had to back out that we'll never get privy of hearing or knowing - even if close to a player. Really though, I think people seemingly a bit upset/going jilted ex-lover style over Egbo's choice in the here and now does seem a bit like they need to get over it somewhat. For every player that has backed out of a deal with STFC, there will be a player who has likely backed out of a deal elsewhere to join STFC. It's just business
