This happened outside my friends house in Gillingham. He says people are always complaining to the club about how fast the players drive along that road. He said they practically race each other along there, its round the corner from Priestfield. ‘Dickhead gills players’ were the words he used when i spoke to him |

I must admit I don’t often look at the National league structure but was shocked to see that Torquay, Scunthorpe and Yeovil all went down to their North/South league.
Scary stuff.

2/3 have been in the Championship more recently than us! Southend (also been in the Championship more recently than us) look likely to be the next one to add to that list. Our last 20 years have been pretty shite but at least we are treading water or at most drifting backwards very slowly whilst treading water as opposed to sinking without a trace like the clubs mentioned above… |

Back to former players after this but those National LN and LS are fascinating to look through the teams. At least Scunthorpe have started well. In the same league as Peterborough sports for Christ’s sake. Weston SM doing better than Yeovil and Torquay. Early days of course. |
