I would rank Adebayo making it as a Championship player as one of my greatest surprises in football. Absolutely stank the place out when he was here. Was convinced he was heading for non-league at best!

Strange how we see things differently.
You could see he had ability, attitude was a little lazy.

Haha, I saw no ability! Bambi on ice with those spindly legs and absolutely bone idle.

Got to say, you don’t seem to rate many players at all.

Really?!

Lots of players I rate! Not many in the current STFC squad I'll grant you but I suspect I'm not alone there.

Certainly don't mean to come off as negative. Just thought Adebayo was straight up garbage.

Edit - My previous post in this thread was saying Louis Thompson was worth a look. Hardly 'troll' territory!

No, he didn’t.

I’d love a fit Louis Thompson back but I fear we’d just be getting another Jordan Lyden.

No, he didn’t.

Recollections may vary…

Here’s a contemporary Adver article:

https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/17399869.stevenage-snap-former-swindon-town-loanee-elijah-adebayo-end-season/

“ Adebayo spent the first half of the 2018/19 season on loan at the County Ground – making 30 appearances and finding the net just five times – before a lack of discipline and a series of underwhelming performances bought his time at the club to an end.”

And then misses in the penalty shoot out when he had a chance to win the game.

Notts Co win anyway

Not that I'm obsessed but I watched the last 10 minutes or so of the Aberdeen v Hibs game when I saw McKirdy had come on as a sub. He was absolutely awful, looked well out of his depth. Still the same arm waving at linesmen even after picking up a cynical booking.

Definitely will be in league 2 next season I reckon.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise,
