Hasn't Bale at least, politely, turned them down as it would get in the way of Golf? Thing is, it suits so many to be involved with project Wrexham that I am not sure it's actually costing them that much, for instance it suits brand Foster to be as involved there as much as it suits Wrexham to have him, its a completely different business model to any that have been tried before (no idea if that has just been by accident or very clever) and new territory for all. I suspect the proof will come when they stall and/or the gimmick oof the TV show loses its lustre, the positive for Wrexham fans is the reputational loss of them screwing over the club is probably so great as to avoid it happening. |
