Allen: I guess he has just signed for Corsham for this season then? I know he was at Melksham in the Covid season just gone.

Pryce: Shows how Wellens was correct in the sense that you can have ability but still need to be prepared to work hard/train hard. The lad definitely has ability but if the attitude isn't right...would be great if he realised the opportunity he has had and makes some kind of pro come back. As the evidence suggests, that realisation hasn't materialised yet. Quite possible though that he doesn't/didn't like the pro environment but don't know the lad.

Christopher: A pretty much unknown who never really pushed into the 1st Team proper. Left Town 3yr ago.

Yeah, Allen signed a few weeks ago. Pryce was shite for Calne in the Western League, I'd imagine a pro come back is a far way off. Christopher I don't think I've ever heard of, thanks!

Ahh nice one. It's weird with Chris Allen because you see a player like Robertson/Lancashire/Dunne (delete as app) being able to have careers as L2 plodders and yet I thought he would remain at pro level or at least Conference for most of his career.

Good update on Pryce too. Seems a waste.

Mo problen. Christopher - Imagine Ralph Graham currently. Type of player you think will come through and take an opportunity but then released and never to be heard of again. I imagine in 3yrs we'll be saying "Ralph Graham?!", maybe some already are  Smiley

On another note though, Melksham has a nice little set up now doesn't it. I know it looks like a Leisure Centre clinging onto the edge of the pitch but for that level, is quite impressive bit of facility. Playing surface looks fairly decent too.

Absolutely. I have a bit of envy. The Members Club/Sponsors Suite at Town I feel is in reverse. As nice as it is in there, the view of the CG Car Park doesn't quite cut it.

That's only because the Townend roof is too low and needs pulling down 😁

Yeah but even a sniff of a pitch side view would have been something. Still, there is the nice little trek to the "posh seats"  Smiley

In England, Jon Obika beat him to it in Scotland.
