Depends what he was sacked for really, originally there were allegations of bullying. Makes a big difference whether that's just upsetting a few over entitled players with home truths or something altogether more Julian Alsopp |

Just reading about Steve Foley, good player for us about 35 years ago. Presently coaching the coaches at Ipswich Town as well as running Ryman League team Needham Market. Linked now with a return to Norwich as first team coach.

We signed Nile Ranger, don't think we have any moral high ground to take... Plus, I doubt the full details will ever come out but then again, he's stuck with Lambert for a number of years and that wasn't enough to save his job |

1) Don't think the OP's point was about moral high ground anyway, so much as that if the allegations of bullying have any real basis then that's not really what you want in your manager because it's not very effective and trashes squad morale, irrespective of any "moral high ground" 2) Just because we signed Ranger (and Di Canio come to that) doesn't mean we're now doomed to be morally bankrupt for all time. We can raise our standards again. |

I've never been to that corner of Cumbria....like the fact that the local junior rugby league side are called Wath Brow Hornets. Maybe should do Wainwright's coast to coast walk, which apparently passes through Cleator Moor. |
