I'd have been happy with Culverhouse after Di Canio and after KMac and after Cooper should he be relieved of his duties

Depends what he was sacked for really, originally there were allegations of bullying. Makes a big difference whether that's just upsetting a few over entitled players with home truths or something altogether more Julian Alsopp

Just reading about Steve Foley, good player for us about 35 years ago.  Presently coaching the coaches at Ipswich Town as well as running Ryman League team Needham Market.  Linked now with a return to Norwich as first team coach.

Yes, just checked that out on Wiki, you are correct, never realised there were two!!  Always thought the one that was at Norwich with Mike Walker was the one who played for Lou!!  Cheers!!

We signed Nile Ranger, don't think we have any moral high ground to take...
Plus, I doubt the full details will ever come out but then again, he's stuck with Lambert for a number of years and that wasn't enough to save his job

He is quoted in a number of newspapers saying: “Paolo would be keen to speak to Celtic. He played for the club and he certainly has a good relationship with the fans. There has been no contact between Paolo and the club. But if there was, it’s something he would consider.”

It amuses me that the above quote could easily be from Di Canio

1) Don't think the OP's point was about moral high ground anyway, so much as that if the allegations of bullying have any real basis then that's not really what you want in your manager because it's not very effective and trashes squad morale, irrespective of any "moral high ground"
2) Just because we signed Ranger (and Di Canio come to that) doesn't mean we're now doomed to be morally bankrupt for all time. We can raise our standards again.

I've always liked the sound of Cleator Moor Celtic. Not heard a lot from them lately. Hope they're alright.

Farsley Celtic, recently played in the same league as Oxford.

Cleater Moor is possibly the scariest place in England!

I've never been to that corner of Cumbria....like the fact that the local junior rugby league side are called Wath Brow Hornets.

Maybe should do Wainwright's coast to coast walk, which apparently passes through Cleator Moor.
