I think we would have had a chance if he was offered a two year deal from the start. Offering a one year, take it or leave it deal, ensured he would look elsewhere. Hence it was too late when Jed upped the offer (and made the embarrasing comment about McCormack being welcome back as a coach any time). And why should he have taken the penalty instead of a striker? Not a cunt. |
