Bostock and Parrett released by Spurs.

I reckon Bostock will go abroad and Parrett will get a League 1 club.

It'd be nice to have Bostock back, but there's no reason to believe he will go for us. He might get signed by Scumderland though, Paolo always raved about how good he was, just rarely played him...

Parret played well against Oldham, but it sounds like he was pants afterwards, plus it seems stuff was going on behind the scenes. He can stay the fuck away.

Bostock spent the overwhelming majority of his Swindon Town career not on the pitch and even in the throwing-around-of-money era we briefly enjoyed I would say that he's not worth the risk.

If we're playing 5 in midfield I'd imagine Bostock would be the perfect player to have. Not that we can afford him (or anyone yet it seems)

But why was that? Was it one of Paolo's odd decisions, or was there a fitness reason? I vaguely recall Paolo saying in one post-match that Bostock was fit and ready from the moment he arrived (I think he was talking generally about the fitness of other club's players)

Does anyone know what John Gilligan, Darren Bullock and Alex Smith are up to these days? Last I know of John Gilligan is that he played for Nuneaton Borough in the late 1970's and thats the last I know of him. Darren Bullock is apparently a window cleaner in Worcester but don't which one and Alex Smith played for Southport in 2006 and since then he seems to have dissapeared. Is there anyone on here who can help me?

Darren Bullock cropped up recently as a local hero in Worcester when rescuing someone from a fire when cleaning windows. John Gilligan, had a twin bro Augustus (Gus) Gilligan, both who played a handful of games but sadly never in the same side.

John is a driver for Stagecoach, Gus works in healthcare in Dublin.  Alex Smith....try Walton.

Here's the link about Bullock
