Anybody got any recommendations for an architect/planner who will draw up and submit the plans for a two storey extension to the council? There's so many listed in the yellow pages, we don't know where to start. Plus, we used a chap before who was absolute shite and got a load of key measurements wrong, which caused us all sorts of problems.
Also, anyone know what is a reasonable cost for this service in case I do have to do some ringing round tomorrow?

I know a good architect in Chippenham (he did ours) who used to work for the planning office so knows most of the tricks to get plans through (and also knows which planning officers are a pain in the arse)

Sounds like the guy we used who did a good job.
