Probably.  I suspect the next big policy he drops will be something like bringing back hanging.

Surely it's simply to try and get the reform dickheads back given they are diluting the Tory vote.

To make it clear I don't trust Clem, and even less so the people around him.

However if you had an agent that would waive his fees (or at the very least give you a significant discount) you would probably keep going back to them to make signings.

However it obviously severely limits your options if you don't look elsewhere.
You don’t get anything for free, someone’s making money somewhere and it isn’t the actual club that’s for sure. I’d wager they are waving fees in exchange for a guaranteed number of minutes to showcase their clients talents which is why you need a clueless oaf in charge like Gunning to go along with it.

I think you are all taking this far too seriously, in terms of being "real" for the here and now.  This looks like a free hit trial and error policy test - the Tories know the result of the election, they can try out a few random policy ideas and see how they float with the entire electorate as a focus group rather than a handful of people at a Think Tank.

And it doesn't have to be a pure upfront money type deal to make sense in using us.  Take the bunch that turned up for the past five months.  They were all headed for the post season lottery of being out of contract and appearing at random small grounds as Trialist A for the summer.  Instead, they got a few months, where they all took it in turns to get some match time, to provide potential takers a long trial.  An agent may keep some longer term value from his players as a result.

How much do those proposing this hate the young?  You've taken their ability to work around Europe. Oh they have it so easy these days?  Do they?  Do they have free post 18 education?  Do they have jobs for life with gold plated pensions?  Do they have affordable housing? No.  And now you think a stint in the forces will do them good.

What did we do and how were you at 18?  If you're not 85 you didn't do national service.

Cameron and Johnson were burning £50's in front of the homeless and smashing up restaurants.  It a bunch of Priviledged arseholes deciding the kids aren't all right.

Some of them are little shits.  Some of them.  A small minority.  So lets send them all to be drilled by forces who don't have the bandwidth to do it.

Im currently sitting opposite my 17 year old who is spending 7 hours a day revising.  Shes got to give up her job for a weekend a month and rely on me for money more?  OR she can make money whilst in the services?

Its just a shit idea that stinks of desperation.

You don't think they've learned lessons after the last time they said it and proceeded to be even shitter than anyone could ever imagine?

Not a Fucking chance.

This man has ‘form’ for all the wrong reasons in business. STFC is just another business. What makes it worse is the, ahem ‘shadowy’ figures lurking in the corridors and darker recesses of our club that can be associated with him and his business dealings. Off and on the pitch.

Remember Diamond Mike? Took a share in STFC ‘for a laugh’ or something like that. Well FWIW firmly believe we’re not only back in those dark days but indeed, the days are actually darker.

The common denominator is these people have or had no real money to invest nor any real need to invest, they’re screwing the club over by just being there and by association the fan base and sponsors, royally. It is clear that many cannot see the problems there are now or envisage those yet to be revealed coming down the line.

Well if it gets the hooded chavs off the street stealing stuff I’m all for it.

By giving them rifles?

With all due respect there is absolutely nothing Clem can say or do to convince me to renew other than sell up. Announcing some random average Joe as manager certainly won’t cut it.

You don't think they've learned lessons after the last time they said it and proceeded to be even shitter than anyone could ever imagine?
