what time are people booking transport home? Obviously need to take into account possible ET and PEN. Would 6.30pm be sufficient? Or 7pm

get an off peak return, doesn't matter which train you take.

my poxford mate was front row of the middle tier and said the view was amazing. best seats. also they only paid £40 each

When I booked my tickets for charlton, they just needed my name as I didn't know my seat number for next season. So, I imagine it will be same this time around.

Had to book mine on my 7 year old's season ticket as it says tickets have already been booked on mine. Not by me they haven't. Not impressed. Didn't cause me a big problem (other than a temporary cardiac issue while I tried it three times to make sure it wasn't just fat fingers/typos/whatever then prayed the lad's season ticket number would work) but if the problem (whatever it is) is more widespread then there's going to be some pretty pissed off season ticket holders if it happens to people who've only got access to the one season ticket.

That's only taken me the best of an hour pissing around.  Tried to book 4 adults and 1 concession and on the next page got the message, 'this leaves 1 ticket in this row, please go back and change quantity'.  I don't want to change the  quantity, I want 5 tickets not 6!  Gave up in the end and tried the same quantity on the next drop down which was the same row number and it worked - WTF!

You will be extremely lucky to get 12 together. Maybe 3 or 4 together (In and around the good seating areas, that is), by the time they go on general sale. We only just managed to get 5 together, and that was at 9pm!

Indeed, but it's difficult to tell from the plan how far from the pitch you will be. Apparently the further up you are the more the players take on Sensible Soccer proportions. I was just hoping I don't need binoculars, like you do from the back of Old Trafford's north stand.

Got 5 together in block 125 at about 10.30 last night. Lucky I nicked pauld's' season ticket number back at the quiz last year...

Well plenty of people would know my surname but how would they know the ticket number? Unless someone's just tried some kind of brute force attack with likely numbers and their "Big Book of Common English surnames". More likely Ticket Zone (or the club) have fucked up their database, I'd have thought. It was a little worrying for a while, but more of a concern that people are going to miss out because they've just messed something simple up

I got a P please Bob at the end of my confirmation email as well, so if it is something to worry about, we can all sit outside Wembley wailing together.

On another note, rang the customer services chaps about the "You've already bought tickets on this season ticket" thingy and they said no, it's fine no tickets booked against that number. Fella reckoned it may actually have been the website being under load, failing to handle login and bad error handling leading to the "already booked" message being used as a generic error message rather than specific to that one problem. So seems that's actually OK (albeit misleading) so if anyone else had that problem and is panicking that they won't be able to book, don't, just ring up if you can't log in. Bloody programmers :)

And credit where it's due, phone answered pretty much straight away and when I did manage to log in using son's ST no last night, booked the tickets in no time flat. So as long as the damn things actually turn up, I'm back to being impressed again (but a bit snotty about the error handling in the web app) :)

Apologies if this question has been asked already (it probably has), but the Adver is reporting that 2010/11 season ticket holders can buy today while the club is saying only 2009/10 season ticket holders can.  Which is right?

i used solo to pay for mine but it kept saying i needed an issue number even though solo cards don't have them?!  ??? i saw it was 4 digits so entered the 4 on the back of the signature strip before the 3 numbers, and it went through ok but it hasn't actually taken any money out yet, i assume it will take a while as there are so many to process but do you think it will be ok or is it worth ringing up customer services and asking whether it has worked?!

In regards to the charging of the cards, I have not been charged yet, but I believe, Ticket Zone are collating the data for the club, so the club can charge the cards in the ticket office, and that is where the tickets will be sent from.

Surely Ticket Zone must've done some kind of charge on the card, otherwise someone could put any old details in and manage to 'book' tickets (albeit the card will declined at a later date).

Says when you book it takes 48 Hours for the charge to go through.

We are flying down from scotland, and we seen that there is hospitality that can be booked now at wembley which includes three course meal, free booze for over 4 hours etc all for £209 each. Bit pricey but hey it's gonnae be a special day!!!

We know that many supporters like to display flags at football matches and Wembley Stadium will always be as accommodating as possible. However Wembley Stadium upholds the highest standards of Health and Safety.

Flags are not generally confiscated, however the obstruction of gangways, access routes, exits and entrances, important health and safety signage and stairways is strictly forbidden. In the event of an emergency we need to have all access and exit points clear.

Wembley Stadium reserves the right to confiscate flags if they are very large and we feel that it may compromise public safety, obscure someone’s view, a camera position or if a flag carried offensive, discriminatory, inflammatory messaging.

Flags more than 250cm in size at their most widest or longest section will not be allowed.

Flag poles greater than 1m in length are not allowed however. Any articles that could potentially be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety are prohibited.

Permission must be sought in advance from the stadium and event owner to organise use of the very large supporter flags that are designed to be passed over people's heads. In such cases the flag must be flame retardant and the organiser bringing the flag into the stadium will need to provide the appropriate H&S certification. This is in line with the stadium’s grounds regulations.

For the Mexico game we will be running an additional service to assist members who experience difficulty accessing the stadium with their flags (that reach the above criteria).

Having got my tickets after worring for 2 days, i am now being pesimistic about their delivery.  As they are being sent out by Recorded Delivery what happens if no one is in when the postie delivers them?  Do you get one of those cards telling you to go to your local sorting office to collect them?

We have been to the American Football at Wembley, and the first year they took the bottles off you when you went in. The other times they have just taken the lids (as of course no one is clever enough to take a spare lid).

They haven't ever stopped us taking in food though (sarnies & the like).

National Express are running coaches from the bus station to Wembley, £26 for adults - not sure about kids.

And Swindon Travel(Hatts)are running coaches at £19.

Well, the postman's been, but no sign of any tickets.  Thought the coaches were booked yesterday by the people who are coming with us, but no 'they forgot!'.  Fucking marvellous, as they are now all sold out.  The train prices now seem to be really expensive and I don't really fancy dragging my 6 year old around on a packed underground.   Driving now looks to be the only option.   It's all turning into a complete disaster and I might just go back to bed and forget today!

I went once and they would let you take bottled water in if you opened it in front of them and threw the lid away.  So, err, keep a spare lid in your pocket

Just over 30,000 tickets have now been sold to Swindon supporters.

Good to say now that its over 30,000...great effort,hopefully this time next season we sell out when going for The Premiership!

I expect it will creep up a bit now Millwall have sold out and we are selling to anyone.

Millwall have posted on their official site today that they've sold 35500 tickets.

Lets not worry about how many they take...28K, people shouting we need 30K..., 30K, and still disappointing!
