Just seen no Bedwell on the bench, wierd one in a one off game.

PdC seems to only put a keeper on the bench when he's allowed 7 subs to choose from.

In the league this year the numbers of subs increased from 5 to 7 so PDC has started using a sub goalie

I think it's stipulated that one has to be a goalie. I may have dreamt that though.

Very happy to see Wes in goal tonight

Unless he pisses Paolo off again, which would be interesting as we don't have a sub keeper on the bench.

Paolo to rip off his suit and go in goal?

Not sure about 433 or whether Williams will play wide right in a 442.

Agreed. I'd be very surprised if De  Vita played in a midfield 3 with Miller , Bostock and Navarro sat out.

That is true.

I am surprised that we don't have a sub keeper but some of that comes from when Digby got sent off in the previous incarnation of this cup against Aldershot in 87 when we were 2-0 at the time and lost 3-2.

I always thought the mystery outfield player who could also hold their own in goal was Caddis or Risser, but maybe it's someone who's still here.....  McCormack? Ferry? Flint?

Unlikely to be Ferry IMO as hes a little bit short, Flint might be a good call though.

Rowland and Quinn were both used well as stand in keepers for us in the past so its feasible.

Very attacking line up with Williams Benson and A Rooney starting...a bit random that you can have 7 subs in the league but not in the JPT.

With Ritchie not playing I will have to change by prediction to...

2-0 Williams, Rooney

Either Rooney or Williams wide right, I think it will be Williams, unless we do go for 433 or even 424 all out Smiley its not Adam Rooneys natural position though out wide right but then it wasn't De Vitas natural position to play wide left and he has taken well to that role.

Long shot but has anyone somehow managed to find a stream or, failing that, a radio feed that will work for the entire match?

I would love us to win.

1. Because I always want Town to win.
2. So we take back the so called 'bragging rights' and hopefully not have to play them for a long time.

But, to me, this one stinks of a frustrating narrow/penalty shoot-out defeat.

i'm starting to feel as if this game is a bit of an unnecessary distraction to be honest

the league is what is important, not a pointless cup game against some pub team.

Behave.

This pub team have drilled us the last 3 times we've played. We need to get a win on the board.
