And actual pay him ourselves and not the foundation if the talk is to be believed

That was 100% correct.

Lewis Ward, Jack Payne and Diallang Jayesimi all released from Charlton

Always thought there was a good player in DJ, suspect post Wellens nobody has got the most out of him.

Funny enough if we are keep Redman Evans, i would love Ward as a third, i really want an experienced player in the GK department.

Type of player I’d like to see us get in to be honest.

We need 4/5 players that have been around the block, it won’t happen though.

There is round the block, and there is past it.

For me round the block is 30-32. Get much beyond that and players often fall of a cliff. So i'd rather not more 34/35 year olds honestly.

I would happily sign him for a season, he can tackle and head a ball, he doesnt need to run around too much if he has 2 mobile wide CB's alongside him.

His throws could be an asset too if we get a striker who can head a ball too.

Yeah that makes sense. If you are committing to 5 at the back and are going to recruit to have a couple of giants to benefit from the long throws.

Personally hate the way lower league clubs use a back 5, so i wouldn't have him in a 4 and would rather we dont become a direct long ball team.

Fair play to the lad. He's taken a huge step down. Hopefully he can get himself and National League South club.

He lives in Daventry, one of 2 'well known' people I know of. (Richie Anderson, the radio 2 and one show presenter is the other) My regular drinking buddies (who happen to be Oxford fans, boo) know him and he's seemingly a really sound bloke. He has a signed Swindon shirt up on the wall in his house apparently.

Some useless information for you all on a Friday. Smiley
