Gary Lineker hardly worked his socks off for the teams he played for. if Roberts continues his scoring ratio, and has those moments of inspiration in a game, then a team will carry that sort of player because goals win games. The other advantage of that is, like the Carlisle game, he was shit for a lot of it and very lazy. The defense also got lazy as a result, meaning when he did burst into action he was ace. |

Maybe Sturrock will get Flitcroft in on loan from Bury as short-term cover for Evans.

Yes... We do need a couple of extra options... If this current scenario happened under Dennis Wise then I would have thought he'd be preparing to play - but alas...

Theres a unnamed striker playing for a struggling league 1 club in london I rate in the £500k bracket. In fact I'd say he was better than Bobby Zamora.
