The difference (I guess) between the two is that Ritchie gets more goals.
I actually think Roberts will become more valuable next season. There is definitely a good player somewhere.

Flint, although inconsistent at the start, improved drastically throughout the season, a lot of which imo is down to playing alongside an experienced old-head in Ward. I think with the right tutelage he has a lot of potential. Macca probably did get found out at CB but is comfortably a L1 standard CM & as has been mentioned previously his versatility has definitely worked in his favour wrt being offered a new deal. If Ferry had been able to play anywhere else other than CM then I think we could well have gambled on him in all honesty!! |
