Saw him Sunday lunchtime at the club on his bike, thought he looked ok. However, around 4.00pm he said that he was off to London that day to see the docs re his ankle.

Now in the Adver saying that he will be off for up to 8 weeks.

Bummer for him. I felt to have any chance of playing regularily he needed a stonking pre-season to get his fitness up.

If he was 100% he could do a job for us. Bit like Migs was really.

If I was DW I'd be looking to buy up Whalley's contract and get rid.....probably the worst bit of business that King did...even worse than Thorpe, who only had a year.

Whalley's the perfect replacement for Migz - He's always effing injured!

I agree with Reg. Pay him up and fuck him off.

I'd have to agree with the last 2 posts.

and add that he was shit in at least 75% of his appearances last year.

i thought that once whalley got over his injuries last season he looked pretty useful and put in some good performances.

anyway, i presume this means we'll start the season with weston and pook in midfield.

Shouldnt have released Miglioranzi....FACT!

He'd slot in perfectly into our current midfield

Migzi never wanted to tackle or actually play well. He wasn't that good, but with all his injuries he was never at his best last season.

You are wrong.

Migz got through alot of the donkey work, sure he never did obvious lunging tackles like Gurney....but he used to break up a hell of alot of the play....more so that anyone gave him credit for ever.

He was never at his best last season, although up till January he was doing alright, but is still better than most of the midfielders currently at the club

Bistol city was migses best ever game in a swindon shirt. Sadly though, he gradually got worse and worse, and in the end its not that dissapointing to see him go.
