we've had six weeks to discuss names and possible reasons for and against. We've had threads about every man and his dog, so having considered all that, and assuming sheena easton has turned us down, who do you want? One name and one name only, and reason why? Bart, this is where you can have a constructive opinion...
me: Dave Hockaday. We can't have steve cotterill or peter taylor, Calderwood is doing ok now, Money seems a no and I think we may have burnt our bridges with Holloway, so for me Hockaday over Wilson/Gary Mac/Steve Staunton and all the others. He knows this club, still local, good coaching credentials.

I have been seduced by the Hockaday idea as well Juddie. Also, Southampton's youngsters will be easier to poach than Newcastle's

All the names mentioned should do a better job than Malpas and definitely a better job than Byrne.
I really don't mind which one.

Sorry, I did realise I forgot to say a reason, but had the more pressing matter of putting garlic bread in the over.
Anyway, I think it'd be quality to have a manager named after a pirate.

I'm a bit like that now. The way I see it who ever gets it, we'll be better off than we were/are. Except Staunton!

If it's to be a pirate, I'm not settling for anything less than Edward Teach http://www.bbc.co.uk/bristol/content/images/2006/09/12/blackbeard300_203x300.jpg
