the demise of Leeds is bigger than any team. even the likes of Forest and Sheffield Wednesday when they were in league one cannot match Leeds.

What about Yeovil if they go up.

Leeds beating Yeovil in an FA Cup match next season could be a cup upset

In the 70's when Colchester bear Leeds in the FA Cup, they called it a massive shock.

Next season, Colchester will be in a higher division than Leeds. In fact, nest season, Leeds will have to play in the 1st Round of the FA Cup.

Was that our "modern" record attendance then? And what is the exact capacity of the CG?

According to the the Football Ground Guide:

Quote
Modern All Seated Attendance Record:
14,697 v Stockport County
Division Two, May 4th 1996

Capacity: 15,728 (all seated)

First game for Alan Ball with Arsenal, 32,000 ans some others climbed up the floodlight towers.  This was in 1971.
