Didn't Doncaster appoint a player as caretaker for a little while and it seemed to work out quite well as they haven't seem to drop the pace.

Correct decision to let the players take control, they're obviously motivated to get promoted this season so why try and change things.

Rob Jones is jont caretaker, with Brian Fylnn till the end of the season. Maybe something we should look into?

Looks like Macca and Ward (or some combination of senior pros) for the next few matches/until the takeover is done after all

Not ideal... Think I'd rather have Bodes overseeing things until an appointment.

So Ward and McCormack are starters for the next 2 games then

Will be interesting to see who oversees things from the bench

no manager is going to be appointed whilst the takeover remains in the hands of the FL and we realistically have no idea how much longer this could take.

there's no obvious backroom staff in a position to allow us to move forward with some continuity, because as arriba alluded to Bodin has been frozen out of first team activities. this leaves "senior" players the only real option.

don't neccesarily see it being a disaster, although it's rare for players to continue to focus on playing whilst managing. Hoddle did it under different circumstances but i can't recall many other examples. it'd be unfortunate if Ward's form dipped.

I still think Bodin will be asked to step in and 'assist' until things are sorted!
