The new owners now have it in their hands to appoint the right person. We are top of the league, and the right person can keep us there.

This new consortium have a lot to prove.

This whole debacle is a sad state of affairs. Once it's sorted the happier most of us will be.

On that note - Mike Newell took over Hartlepool when they were 16 points clear at the top of L2...

...and they finished 2nd!

FFS, can't they let us enjoy the highs for at least 10 minutes. I guess we'll find out how ambitious (or not) Jed's lot are fairly soon then.

I tell you what though, if I hear Newell or Buckle mentioned once more tonight I will quite literally scream at the top of my voice.

I'm hoping Sven is looking for a job back in England. That would be ace and keep the circus going.

Hopefully that's a sign he's not coming here. I'll be absolutely gutted if he's manager. He's a clueless cunt.

When I was a very young kid, I often "backed" the riderless horse watching racing on tv (unaware that they would at least have had an owner)

Could we just leave it to the players now?

It makes grim, grim reading.
