Is Hoskins a forward? In any case, I agree, can’t fluke getting in the right position time after time. He will be missed.

How much compensation do we get for his absence? I feel like someone mentioned it previously.
£9k per day which starts when he leaves for pre WC training and, obviously, the time Wales are competing. Guessing about 30 days in all. Nice.

Thanks both. Ah, maybe if our form is good we may want them to make the knock outs at least! Wink

Khan's signature little "roundabout turn" is a beautiful thing

Is it as good as Micky Hazard's?

I understand that for the absence of Williams we will get £10k per day whilst he’s away.

If nothing else, it would help with the clubs bank balance.

I watched the match with Mansfield commentators. I actually thought they were quite good. Very complimentary of us and fair in their judgement of the big decisions.

We were brilliant today all over the pitch. It’s great to see us having more of a squad now. People forget our captain is out injured, Reed can’t get in the side, first choice left back is out. The squad will evolve throughout the season I’m sure but it’s great to have options and strengthen as the matches go on.

The midfield ran the show today. Williams, Darcy and Gladwin all great. We looked a bit more direct and always dangerous. Hutton is one hell of a find, was beating his man constantly and putting decent balls in.

Hopefully we can put a bit of a run together and stick in the top three.

One of the most enjoyable games as a Town fan we're ever going to get.

442 diamond really suits us. The tactical shifts this season are a credit to Lindsay.

Best of the season without doubt and a performance and result with intent.
Fans were excellent, even going down in seconds, never stopped supporting.

Games like that make the travelling and cost worthwhile.
Mansfield rattled, took the game to them and they had no means to stop it.
Cracking celebrations.

What did Clayton’s injury look like?

Hoping it was more precautionary, looked fairly mobile walking off 🤞

Only negative was probably Wakeling not getting himself on the score sheet.
He’s obviously contributed with two assists today but strikers want to score goals and purely on that front he’s been ‘off form’

How long is Darcys contract? Definitely a player in there.

Also Williams sniffing around inside the box is better than Williams being wide left or right

Why even make the comment of Wakeling being “off form” for not scoring?
just don’t get the need.
Massive grin after the game today, still very young, learning and that square ball to Jephcott put us in front, acknowledged by all of the players in the celebration.
