It seemed, to me anyway. Swansea wanted rid, we wanted to sign him and Gurney wanted to sign for us. So why the delay then, I thought it was a case of just having a medical done. He hasnt official signed for what I can tell, so he is a Swansea player yet is playing for us in practise matches http://www.thisisstfc.co.uk/News_Headlines_Story.asp?NewsID=5184

He's officially left Swansea I'm guessing it's all down to crossing the i's and dotting the T's in his contract.
18 month job I believe on the cards.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the delay is from the Football League - they haven't given the signing their seal of approval yet! Just a formality though I think.

Not the man we need, until Saturday we looked solid with or without him.
We need some creativity and goals.

We need some creativity and goals. Says the man who looks off his tits.... Fuck off you are talking out yer bum Dave, Gurney is a fooking legend, whether or not he's doing his Beckham impression. Anyone care to disagree? I will fight you.
