You'll be thinking of the mighty Mathias Lindstrom....might have been a Swede mind.

Superb, cheers Reg....

Finish although there is a Swede with the same name who plays for Heilsingborg.  Remember as the Swede was a decent Champ Man player and I thought it was him at the time.

Turns out he had a trial at Crewe last year.

I just remember a blonde bloke trying to play football from the back....so just thought he may have been a Swede.

I actually saw him and Juan Cobian and Mark RobERTson (not RobINson) on the pitch at the same time. Martin Williams scored two goals as well -  wierd. It really did happen, and I hadn't had a drop to drink

That was the one Reg. Duke scored as well. What a strange day that was!

I dont  think are current side is bad, just lacking in confidence with only Lee Peacock really trying every game. Curo is playing well, just dont think the 352 works with jack smith swap him with shakes and we have the width that we had when playing well against Bournmouth Gillingham etc... Wink

This current side has a number of players who would easily enter the all time STFC Hall of Shame.

The first half yesterday was as even more painful than I thought it would be, we rallied somewhat due mainly to the efforts of an 18 year old French kid making his full debut....who's not our player, but then it petered out with HPool looking more likely.

HPool did their best to hand us 3 points, had they had even a semblence of ability they would have won easily....I predict we'll be put out of our misery by next Saturday....Dongs have MacLeod, who'll be too much for us.

Jack Smith....repeatedly caught out of position and gives the ball away too often...no bottle as shown by turning his back on a tame free kick and diverting it in.

Andy Nicholas....showed promise in first season but has gone downhill since....repeatedly gives the ball away and even the throw isn't long any more....booze problem?

Steve Jenkins....has been a good player in his time...has been being the operative phrase....now gets caught ball watching and gives the ball away too often.

Christian Roberts....was dead set against the chavmeister signing, but a couple of good performances had me changing my mind....unfortunately I was right all along, 18 months of a waste of everybody's time and money.

Michael Pook...its a bit harsh on the lad, as he perhaps shouldn't have been thrown in the deep end, but he has gradually degenerated....again booze and attitude seem wrong.

Gareth Whalley.....when we went out of this league previously we had Gary Emmanual.. ..GW is similar....5 minutes of activity a game is just not enough at any level.

Aaron Brown....pulled the old pros trick of trying a bit on loan to get a contract...then doesn't care.

Trevor Benjamin.... any resemblance with a footballer is merely coincidental.

Stefani Miglioranzi.....hero to zero, what's happened to the man. One good game this season which happened to be on Sky.

Ricky Shakes an athlete masquerading as a footballer...should have taken the Darren Campbell road.....or perhaps porn star.
