Weird innit, I've never had the Beckford dread....Hayter yes.

I noticed Beckford scored t'other day, his first since May....seeing him sticking it past Wes on that Skybet add, doesn't please me  Smakc  as Harry Toffolo, does a girlie skip in admiration.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned getting him back next season....
I wouldn't be surprised to see Toffo back if we offload BOO because of the "bonggate" (in the words of Batch).

Much as I dislike him I would jump at the chance of Beckford coming here...but we couldn't get near his wages and the fact that hes not played for a southern based club since he left Wealdstone 10 years ago..

I noticed that, hes played a total of 70 mins I think somebody said on the Grimsby forum and hes only played two games. Played for their reserves for 45 mins last week too.

Their fan recon he looks much better than Monkhouse on the wing yet can't even get on the bench but they say hes not injured.
No surprise at Grimsby, dropped their top scorer last week as they lost at home - recalled him last night and he got a hat trick in a 3-1 win at Woking!

Think with Brophy and Boo we're fine at LWB for next season - the whole point of the two-season development is that those players are key first-team players next year.

Need cover/a first choice RWB for sure though.

I'm not so sure as i think personally that position has been a big let down this year. LWB have to be able to do both going forward and defending for me and personally think they both struggle at both of those things.

Grimsby have National Play-Offs and the FA Trophy Final so need extra to compliment this. Personally, I never saw Jordan Stewart's move there to be anything more than back-up.

This is still better than what he's got at Swindon currently.

I'd take HT over either BOO or Brophy any day.

Me too. I reckon a small fee will see someone sign him this summer

Is he in your cellar with a pool ball in his mouth?

I have neither a cellar, nor a pool ball so no!

Yes I agree, thats 3 too many TBH.

Not quite as high as Jermaine Beckford who has scored 10 goals in 9 games against us and James Hayter who scored 9 in 15 games, they can just fuck off.

I always thought Nicky Forster would score against us, no idea if the stats back me up on this.

8 goals against us in 18 games, so yes you are right.

And that Millwall arse Harris is another, in my mind at least. Did he bag a load off us?
