How about some traditional categories like:

Loanee of the Year
Perfomance of the Year
Goal of the Year
etc.

as well as the Unsung Hero, Like to have a pint with etc.

the TEF MAN OF THE YEAR Award for Excellence and Fantasticness being the main award, obviously.

I like that idea.  It would seem a bit of a shame to just give out one award, so some little ones like you've mentioned would be good.

I'd like a TEF Best use of cut-and-paste from bbc website award, although I think it could be a 1 horse race...

Celebreation of the year? Could get a couple of last minute entries on saturday!

I like the man of the year and unsung hero of the year ideas.

How about...

...most improved player

...biggest surprise (ie a player everyone thought would be pretty shit and turned out to be amazingly ace eg Phil Smith)

either way....

Peacock has PFA Player of the Year
I personally think Ifil will win Fans Player of the Year

So basically this award needs to go to Phil Smith no matter what its called.

I'd go for Gurney as man of the year, he's put in loads of years for us as a player and all though a bit of a nutter it was what we needed a lot of the time. Shame his injuries forced him to retire.
