''We've spoken to a lot of clubs about who is available and at what price and I think he's valued at around £300,000 or maybe £250,000.

Not 400k but a lot of money and it doesnt appear as though Fallon is first option.

I cant see our board refusing if they bid anything more than 200k.

I might be optimistic but i really think the board will hold out on Fallon and only accept a bid if it's too good to refuse bid (eg) £400,000+! It's all depending on whether they want to sell Fallon and there for pretty much accept relegation or try and fight for league 1 status and keep our top goal scorer!

But, would Fallon do the shit on us now. He's got to save us.

Fallon should sign a new contract with a Relegation Cause.

Me and Janaage were discussing this subject in the Winners on NYE.

The general consensus was thanks for the goals but fuck off  Cheesy

We'd be mad not to accept £250k-300k for Fallon I think. 4-500% profit. Give Iffy £50k of that and that should be enough to sign someone just as good, that's all Parkin and Fallon cost.

I agree, although it'll be interesting to see if Iffy is as shrewd in the transfer market as King.....

It seems that Jon Parkin is being sold on the cheap by Macclesfield, though bids have come in for him already from Chester and Lincoln. But if Fallon was sold i'd imagine we'd be able to afford him (well!), though it would be a risk.

Looks like we've rejected an offer.  For me, if we were offered £300k, then i would probably accept it.  At least we have Cureton who can do the business.  The team wil just have to adapt to his kind of play

one man does not make a team.

adapting our style of play for a player whose commitment to swindon town fc is doubtful is beyond the realms of logic, to be fair. it'd be daft to do it.

We are playing in a way that, whilst sometimes not pretty, demonstrates a certain commitment.

My only concern if we try to change the way we play in order to satisfy one player, we can possibly stunt the effectiveness of three or four.

Lets try and get that one player to play the way the remaining 10 can and have been (if thats possible).

If thats not possible then lets unload him whilst we can
