He commented on the fact that players need to be a team with no selfish traits he will sign a majority of English players but will bring in some Italian players. He has spoken to AC Milan about a collaboration and they are willing to send some youth over.

Italian backroom staff.
Being a manager was his destiny and he has always spoken to players about tactics and been observant as a player into the tactical set-up, thats why Redknapp speaks highly of him.
Doesn't matter where he is manager he wants "revenge" for our relegation and wants to win, win, win.
No approach from other clubs and Swindon contacted his agent to speak to him.

So what did he say other than "I am Lion, hear me roar" and something about Donatelli?

Some of us are at work without radio access so don't even have the luxury of being interrupted for the Chelsea Flower Show.

The Adver fella has summed up most of the main quotes Batch -

Have just looked on the map, and I can confirm that indeed Chelsea is in Wiltshire so deserves a piece on local radio

Hahah!

There are flowers in Wiltshire so its more than relevant!

Lets not go too overboard on the Youth players from Milan bit. Don't forget Pericard used to play for Juventus and is a bit not good.

As per Jamie Slabber and Ben Hutchinson you can never assume that squad and youth players from big clubs will be any good.

That goes for Inter and AC Milan as well. I sometimes wonder if big clubs keep a certain amount of duff youth players 1) to make up the numbers and 2) because they know they can con smaller clubs into paying money for them.

I think a lot of the time they tend to be players with obvious athletic or physical qualities, who the bigger clubs hope they can then add technique to as they develop.

However sometimes they clearly have no footballing brain/ability/application and they're the ones who slide down the leagues.
