o'hanlon played really well against us last season.despite what people say about him,he is a decent defender.

Apart from the bit where he gave the ball straight to simon cox who fed it on a plate for paynter to put us one-up?

I've always concidered him an average player for this level when I've seen him play.  Certainly not Championship standard, and WBA will be looking to go up this term.

But I am sure Roberto may know a bit more about what it takes than me Smiley

He played for us at Franchise. He defended like a clown.

Got to admit he was their best player at the CG though.

I always considered him to be a good defender in a heading and tackling sense, but had next to no pace and very poor distribution.

Since he's gone to MKFranchise he possibly looks to have improved slightly on his distribution but from what I've seen of the FL highlights, he still gets turned inside out and skinned by pacey strikers each and every week.

As a no-nonsense defender he'd probably do a job at a lower end Championship team, but to even consider him for a Prem/Championship yo-yo club seems utter lunacy to me.

He gifted us 3 points at the concrete bowl this year and looked wank. I wasn't at the home game so can't comment on that, but he's never looked like a top end Championship player and IMO never will. Di Matteo must be mad.
