I'm pretty sure we've just offered to pay, and had the bids accepted, for 2 players totalling £525kish. Right or wrong?
On the basis you are not a complete retard, I'll assume you answer correctly and then state that this amount of cash being offered would have been the highest amount in at least 8 years (since Todd's little flurry into the bizarre world of players - strangely the one we spent most on got slated, left us and went on to do pretty well at this level). That time we couldn't afford it, this time it's calculated it could have been 2 players more than worthy of playing in the top of this league (hence why they went to bigger clubs than us - for now).

If you was to kindly provide me with a list of players who s available on transfer then i d quite easily pick out some players !! , im not a manager , so dont know who s available or not . Probably choose much better players than weve got !!! .... you happy with the previous signings then ??
id say the players we have been in for OTJ and Robinson etc shows the ambition and money they are willing to pump in as long as its on the right player, no point throwing money at Robinson to get him to sign because we will undo all the good work thats happened off the pitch over the last year. Im confident that should another Cox come along our board wouldnt hesitate to splash out £200,000-£300,000 |

Ok, we haven't signed them, but £250k for OTJ and £270k for Robinson proves the board will give Wilson money for the right player.

I'm indifferent to it. You win some you lose some. We're not a big club, we're not stupid with our money, and I enjoy my Football and knowing our club is on a stable footing. And if i'm honest, all signings excite me, because I know that I know less than anyone who manages us. Well, i say all signings excite me, but that's normally until some miserable cunt infects my happy sheltered little world of optimism. Good post btw JPC.
