I spoke with Frank once at a Barmitzvah (sp?), he said he'll never come back to Swindon as he always hated the Whalebridge roundabout and the town centre Woolworths.

What has happened to Mark Scott? Is he still injured?...he has deputised on a number of occassions last season on the bench and impressed during his stint as Supermarine last season from reports in the press.

IMO I do think someone like Thomas Sorenson would be ideal in that mould, no chance of getting him I accept but has played at a higher level, currently sits on the bench with no chance of playing 1st team except in the cups and fancies a stint between the sticks...who knows it could lead to longer!

We could all name players we know we can't sign.  I'm not entirely sure how helpful it is though.

We did treat him a bit shitty didn't we?

Signed him up on a longer contract, sold him a few days later.

I always thought he signed knowing he'd be sold so that we could get a bit of cash for him... doing us a favour.

Bugger , so my suggestion of a move for Jens Lehmann would be a waste of time then

Indeed.  Personally I would have suggested Peter Schmeichel.

Maybe. Seems a bit odd that whoever bought him (was it Notts County) wouldn't be aware of everything though.

Jimmy Glass? Then we could use him as a striker as well

Director of football at Reading for the best part of the last 10 years. Doubt we could afford to coax him out of retirement. More's the pity.
