I presume they know how their club works. Much the same as we do.
Not very well then! Although some people seem to be able to read LP’s mind

Offer £200k and throw in Reg for free as well! A bit harsh? What have they done to deserve that?

Are you sure about that? I don't really know if Sarfend paired Theo and Coxy as a front 2, but we do know that, they were happy to see him out on loan and Sarfend only stayed up right at the end on GD, they scored fewer than Plymuff, but were much better defensively. It does look as if Theo might have wheels, but complicatioins being still under contract at Roots Hall, and they have a new manager.

It's about having a flexible squad. We're obviously going to have more strikers than Theo (and Kaiyne, who I like down the middle). We're obviously going to sometimes play with 1, sometimes 2.

Yes. As I've said previously we need numbers, particularly up front, to give you that flexibilty. This then allows a bit of wriggle room for not having the 1 in 2 striker, let alone 2. Even if we get Theo, realistically can't see another 3 front men being recruited, assuming K and K are with us next season.... perhaps one more and a loan would be more realistic.

Wouldn't be a shock to me if we saw a surprise exit for someone like Keshi. Wellens strikes me as the ruthless type who will know exactly what kind of strikers he wants.
Should be an interesting couple of months.

RW has said he wants 4. Theo, a "big-money" replacement for Richards, a loanee and I'm assuming he considers Kaiyne as the fourth.

That’s why I said squad addition. I don’t think he’d be the 20+ goal scorer we need and would start every game. Need to be flexible and have different options there. Their new manager might want to keep him, but according to the internet his contract is up.

Something like that looks about right. Apart from Theo might be considered the "big money" man... the Richards replacement, may well be another journeyman type 1 in 3 merchant.

I thought you wanted numbers in defence?

Do we know if Noel Hunt is now available to play or has he hung up his boots. Would have thought a good option

Power confirmed that when he was appointed he was also registered as a player. I thought he would be ancient but he is actually 6 months younger than Richards!
