I see he has been released from Man City, was here very briefly if i remember correctly. I don't ever think he got much of a chance as I don't remember him much. Can anyone remember better than me and if he would be worth a second look?

I thought he'd already been signed by someone, he played at Lincoln away and looked half decent but he doesn't seem to have done much in the past 18 months or so.

He was a small player who looked to be knocked off the ball a lot when he did play. Think he bagged a couple of goals for our reserves though....

Some people might remember his dad, also called Ashley Grimes, who was an Irish
midfielder with Man Utd,at the time of Robson,Wilkins and Remi Moses. He was
usually a sub or reserve who made over 100 apprearances, scored a few goals.
He then went on to play for Coventry and Luton, in their League Cup win over
boring Arsenal back in 88.
