Take that. Didn’t cover himself in glory against Supermarine but:
- He was highly rated at Reading, so clearly had/has some potential.
- He’s bloody huge.
- It’ll mean actual, genuine competition for that position between him and JoJo.

I was going to make a comment about the goals he conceded at Supermarine but on paper he looks pretty decent so I'll allow that performance to slide a little. |

If we assume that we want 2 players per position, that nobody else (inc Payne) is leaving and that Odimayo and Pitman have gone, that only Harry Parsons from the youth team is ready to be counted as a senior player, then by my reckoning that leaves us with 12 signings to go, inc loans. A full back four, 2-3 central mids, 3 wingers and 2-3 strikers. 22 players may seem overboard for a team in our position, but when you include the more injury prone players, its probably the least we need. I suspect this will take another 5 weeks though, and the better players will most likely wait around until then.
