Lets hope Hatswell (former Oxford) and Flynn (former Bradford) don't get poached.

Or there again.....Who knows whats best?

Or was Flynn's contract extension for us to get compensation from Oxford? Maybe a stretch too far

Flynn’s done nothing to interest a club higher up the food chain.

His contract extension still has me a bit baffled.

Conspiracy theory alert: He was ready to walk last week but the offer of a shiny new contract was provided. Absolutely no idea it there is any grain of truth in that, just something I heard on the grapevine.

That's the rumour. October has been an awful month form wise and you can't really blame him given his squad options. I guess his thinking was he could leave before it got much worse.

I dunno what to believe in truth anymore mind.

Wouldn’t have blamed him but I suppose after Walsall, he’s a bit more in need of this appointment to go well.

I don’t buy the “why would he sign a new contract if things were bad” line though. Who wouldn’t sign a contract for probably better salary and better security if the opportunity arose, he can’t really lose there. He either gets a better pay out if sacked, gets a better salary in the meantime and if there’s a risk he’s possibly not going to get paid then it makes little difference anyway, might as well still go for the better contract.

Hope he does stick around and is backed though, with time and the right resources I think he’ll do very well.
