lovely to see wycombe getting 4 and mooney not on the scoresheet. Interesting game from an old STFC perspective....Gorman V Ling, who I'm sure have great mutual respect and will probably chew the fat about the old days at STFC, post match. Then Wycombe have Mooney and Charlie Griffin....O's Gary Alexander and Wayne Carlisle who played for us briefly.

Last night got in about 2 and turned on ceefax. The three 3rd div matches that went ahead had crowds of 2,300, 2,400 and 2,900.
Ive only ever seen a league match with less than 3,000 at Wrexham and that was dead. OK Chesterfield isnt great, but there was still 4,200 at our game which makes a big difference.
I know we dont want to go down. But I really really really really really dont want to go down. Its a boring league.

The way I see it, we are getting the buzz at the right time, were only just behind everyone else and the team is looking a lot more determined. Im worried about saturday though. Ive got visions of when Ipswich brought 5,000 and won 6-1. Visions? I mean nightmares. Get through saturday and we are bang on.
